The next thing that you are going to do; I imagine, is check that wardrobe! Believe me when I say, "Basics are best!" Basics for summer can mean different things to different people; however, most agree that it doesn't hurt to have some of the following on hand ---
1) Camisoles, tank tops, tee-shirts or button downs.
2) Denim shorts/culottes/pants, skirts or dresses.
3) Cotton, linen or a fabric blend blouses, shorts/culottes/pants, skirts or dresses.
4) Cotton or a fabric blend sweaters or jackets for air-conditioning or cool evenings.
5) Flip flops, sandals, slides or sneakers.
One could step it up a notch or two for work/church/school/social occasions, etc., if desired. In some situations, a person may have to, whether they want to or not! In others, not so much. A good rule of thumb; irregardless, is to look as if you have given the outfit some thought. This is the key, really. It can save you a lot of anxiety and worry. Now that we've gotten that settled...
